We track Amazon UK products across every major category via the Keepa price history API. Every live deal is re-checked against Amazon several times a day; other tracked products are refreshed when someone looks them up, adds them to a watchlist, or when Keepa tells us a watched price has moved. Our scoring runs continuously, publishing the candidates that clear our score threshold and anti-junk filters. The desk then monitors the live feed and pulls anything mispriced or wrong. It's a 0–100 reading derived from five factors: discount magnitude, how much price history we have, popularity within category, availability (in stock, sold by Amazon), and a category-quality multiplier. Plus a small bonus for all-time lows. Above 90 is exceptional; 75–89 is strong; 55–74 is fair. Full formula at /methodology.

Every deal page shows a "price verified" timestamp — the last time we checked that product's price against Amazon. When our checks are running normally that's several times a day. If a price hasn't been re-checked for more than 48 hours we say so on the deal page and on the home page rather than let a stale price pass as current, and Amazon's own price is always the one that counts.

Prices on Amazon move minute to minute and our snapshot might be a few minutes behind the live page — especially on fast- moving inventory. Always trust the Amazon page over ours at the moment you click through.

If the gap is more than a few percent and persistent, please tell us. We'll expire the deal within minutes of verifying.

Save deals as bookmarks, add Amazon products to your watchlist with optional target prices, create saved-search alerts for specific keywords, get a personalised "for you" feed, and subscribe to a daily or weekly digest.

Every marketing email has a way out at the bottom. Account alerts and digests are switched off on your preferences page; the morning brief and deal-page alerts by the link in the email itself (one confirming click, so a link-scanning mail app can't unsubscribe you by accident). None of it touches your account.

Candidates in our eight curated categories scoring 50 or more that also clear our anti-junk filters are published automatically; anything in another category, and weaker or riskier candidates, are held for a person to look at. The desk monitors what goes live and removes anything that's wrong. We publish a small number per day and prioritise quality over volume.

Nothing here is written by an AI model. The one-line rationale under each deal and the summary at the top of a digest are generated from the price data by our own code; the guides and the Fake Deal Friday commentary are written by the desk. We do not republish AI-generated reviews or product summaries.
