- How do you find these deals?
We track Amazon UK products across every major category via the Keepa price history API. Every product gets at least one fresh price snapshot a day, and our scoring algorithm runs continuously to flag candidates worth publishing. A human editor then approves or rejects each candidate before it appears on the public site. Full detail at /methodology.
- What does the score actually mean?
It's a 0–100 reading derived from five factors: discount magnitude, how much price history we have, popularity within category, availability (in stock, sold by Amazon), and a category-quality multiplier. Plus a small bonus for all-time lows. Above 90 is exceptional; 75–89 is strong; 55–74 is fair. Full formula at /methodology.
- How often do prices update?
We re-check tracked ASINs at least once every 24 hours, and our most popular deals update closer to every 15 minutes. The "last verified" timestamp on each deal page reflects the most recent snapshot we hold for that product.
- A deal on your site doesn't match Amazon's price right now.
Prices on Amazon move minute to minute and our snapshot might be a few minutes behind the live page — especially on fast- moving inventory. Always trust the Amazon page over ours at the moment you click through.
If the gap is more than a few percent and persistent, please tell us. We'll expire the deal within minutes of verifying.

- What can I do with a free account?
Save deals as bookmarks, add Amazon products to your watchlist with optional target prices, create saved-search alerts for specific keywords, get a personalised "for you" feed, and subscribe to a daily or weekly digest.
- Do you ever charge for accounts?
No. The account features above are free, and we have no plans to put any of them behind a paywall. We pay our bills through Amazon affiliate commission — see our disclosure.
- How do I delete my account?
Sign in, go to /account, scroll to Account settings, and click Delete account. All your data is removed within 30 days. You can also email privacy@dropsignal.uk and we'll do it for you.
- I forgot my password.
Use the password reset page. We'll email you a link that's valid for 60 minutes.

You'll only receive emails you've explicitly opted into:
- Bookmark drop alerts — when a deal you saved drops further.
- Watchlist target alerts — when an ASIN you're tracking hits or beats your target.
- Saved-search match alerts — when newly-published deals match a saved search.
- Daily or weekly digest — the day's or week's best picks, filtered by your preferences.

- How do I unsubscribe?
Every email has an unsubscribe link in the footer. One-click unsubscribe works for every category. You can also disable per-category alerts at /preferences without losing your account.

- Do brands pay you to feature their products?

- How do you decide which deals to publish?
Candidates above a 55 score reach a human review queue. An editor approves or rejects each one — approval rates run around 60%. We publish a small number per day and prioritise quality over volume.
- Are the product reviews on your pages written by AI?
No. Our editorial briefs and rationales are written by humans. We do not republish AI-generated reviews or product summaries.
