01Acceptance

By using dropsignal.uk or creating an account, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

02Who we are

DropSignal is an independently-owned editorial publisher based in the United Kingdom. We operate as an Amazon Associate and earn commission from qualifying purchases.

03Your account

• You must be at least 16 to create an account.
• You must provide an accurate email address that you control.
• You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for activity on your account.
• Email us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.
• You may delete your account at any time from /account; we may delete accounts inactive for 24 months after notifying the registered email.

04Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the site for any unlawful purpose or in breach of these terms.
• Scrape, mirror, or otherwise systematically copy our content other than under fair-dealing for personal use.
• Attempt to disrupt service availability, security mechanisms, or other users' accounts.
• Manipulate vote, report, click, or referral counts.
• Frame, mirror, or impersonate DropSignal in any commercial context without written permission.
• Use automated systems to access the site beyond what's documented as a public API.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms, with or without notice depending on severity. We retain the right to refuse service.

05Editorial content

Our deal scores, rationales, and editorial briefs are opinions. We use them to express our best judgement on whether a current Amazon UK listing represents a strong buying signal. They are not professional financial, consumer, or legal advice. You should always verify the price, stock, and seller on Amazon yourself before purchasing.

We make no representation that any product we link to is fit for any particular purpose, will remain available, or will remain at the price quoted. Amazon controls those details, not us.

06Affiliate links

DropSignal participates in the Amazon Associates Programme, an affiliate advertising programme designed to provide a means for sites to earn fees by linking to Amazon.co.uk and affiliated sites. When you click an outbound Amazon link from DropSignal and make a qualifying purchase, we receive a commission. The price you pay does not change.

07Intellectual property

DropSignal owns or licenses the editorial content, scores, rationales, design, brand marks, and source materials on this site, except for product information that originates with Amazon or the underlying manufacturer.

You may share individual deal links and short quotes with attribution. You may not republish full editorial content, scores, or rationales without our written permission.

08Disclaimers

The site is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by UK law, we exclude all implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for purpose, and non-infringement.

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability we cannot limit or exclude under English law — including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or fraudulent misrepresentation.

09Limitation of liability

Subject to clause 08, our maximum aggregate liability to you in any 12-month period arising out of or in connection with these terms or your use of DropSignal is limited to £100.

We are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, loss of business, or loss of data arising from your use of the site or any third-party site we link to — including Amazon.

10Third-party sites

We link out heavily to Amazon UK and occasionally to other external sites. We have no control over their content, availability, pricing, or terms. Following an external link takes you out of our service; their terms govern from that point.

11Changes to the service or these terms

We may change the service, our editorial methodology, or these terms over time. Material changes to these terms will be flagged on the homepage and signalled inside the app at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

12Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or in connection with these terms.
